Trial runs of the first type BKM-802 single-section tram have begun in Belarus.

The first type BKM-802 single-section tram has entered trial service on the 11km (6.8-mile) line in Balkommunmash, Belarus. The line links the city of Navapolatsk with a nearby petrochemical facility.

The 1 524m gauge four-axle tram is derived from the BKM-843/84300M design, although is a lower-cost vehicle intended for smaller networks. The vehicle at 15.5m long is partially low-floor, seating 28 with 137 standing passengers.
