Final Bombardier Flexity handed to Brussels

The last of the 220 Bombardier Flexity Outlook low-floor LRVs was delivered to Brussels on 17 March.

The last of the 220 Bombardier Flexity Outlook low-floor LRVs was delivered to Brussels on 17 March.

An initial order for 46 trams was placed in 2003, with an option for 22 vehicles in 2005 and 87 further units in 2008 exercised. Stib placed a second order for 87 vehicles in 2010, and is currently developing a specification for its next order for low-floor LRVs due to enter service in 2018.

The current fleet consists of 150 five-section T3000 vehicles, and 70 seven-section T4000 vehicles.
