Quebec City is looking for partners to help develop major stop areas for its planned tramway. Various forms of partnership would be considered by the city for development around stops, including four central underground stations and the termini at Saint-Roch and D’Estimauville. Final plans are to be submitted by the selected partner in February.
Announced last March, the CAD3bn (EUR2.05bn) Quebec City tramway is to be 23km (14.3 miles) long, with a 3.5km (2.2-mile) tunnelled section under Parliament Hill. It is expected to open in 2026.
